Environmental Sustainable Design (ARC1413)
In this module, we get to know more about environmental issues and somein-depth understanding of the complexities and interactions that the design and construction professions have to deal with to contain some of the irreversible damage that human settlement causes to the environment. We get to instill basic ecological literacy and environmental concerns through projects that invloves local environment and society.
Project : Green-Go 2015 Short Environmental Film
Environmental issues have become a great concern for mankind at present time as these issues are affecting and will affect earth and us badly. The Green-Go film project is adopted as a group project which aims to encourage us to use our talents to raise awareness of contemporary environmental and social issues. This project required us to explore environmental issues outside of classroom and text book knowledge to encourage us to do our part by producing a short film that reflects these concerns and to be part of the change for a better world with our creative thoughts.
In a group of 7, our film topic is Save The Dolphins. The short film is related to Baiji Dolphins which already extinct.
